A personal note about this spot. Yeah it’s free and during the day it’s great and overnight (with a big lock and good cover) is fine…but be weary of leaving your bike there for a long period of time…unless WANT someone to fuck with it. If you’re gonna park there the best spot is towards the back right, and chain it to something solid. Someone tried to take my old POS Magna for ride (yeah, it wasn’t chained or covered, but still). I found it 30 feet from the parking spot near the the walkway, where it was left and eventually hit by a tour bus trying to back into the a spot. What topped off the night…when cops showed up, I asked them what should I do with the semi wreck. One just turned to me and said “just push it into the fuckin river” ha!…nice!
