New York Ducati / Triumph / KTM (aka Corsa Motorsports) has been getting a lot of shit the past few years for poor customer service, long waits for service, and some have complained about cost. My first new bike was a 2001 Monster Dark that I got from the now closed Ducati Manhattan on 11th Ave…not a good time. In 2006, I bought my 2006 749 Superbike from the guys in SoHo. I was happy to get the bike, but the experience was just ok. I also had to book my first service a month and a half in advance, which was annoying. But since then, things have definitely changed! Bill, Marcos and crew (some new guys who really know their shit) have turned that place around. I brought my Duc for service in mid January, and it was joy. Everyone was great…and the service was done on time. They even wiped down all the garage dust off my baby. I look foward to bringing it back in the spring to get some track modifications. So, the attitude is gone. To end the pain of waiting for service, a new service shop is under construction in Long Island City…which I hear will be open by spring. You’ll be able go directly there, or you can drop your rig off in Soho, and they’ll shuttle it to and from Queens. As far as cost…gimme a fuckin a break dude…you bought a Ducati, not a motorino.
